My favorite pastime is spending time with family and friends around the dinner table. I love cooking, and I especially enjoy creating new recipes and making things from scratch. I love hosting at my house. I am a foodie all around so I love going to different restaurants and also exploring ethnic foods. In general I love exploring. If I am in a new place I get sidetracked with wandering because of the explorer in me. I also love to travel and live the culture in that area. Thus, I shy away from franchises (Starbucks, McDonalds, TGIF etc..) I usually ask where the locals eat and I look for those places. I am an avid learner and I am continuously reading and learning, which leaves no time for watching movies, shows etc…. I love going to conferences. I spend a few minutes in the morning to connect to God and read scripture to start the day with the Lord’s guidance. I love to dance because I am most joyful when dancing and always feel close to God then. I love to hike, forage and identify wild herbs.
